Overview of Kandari

Kandari village is very popular village and one of the most important highest reach est pea pole in village. Kandari was located on Nh 48 and have developed transport system. Most of villager’s income is based on farming. There are many temples in the village. Karjan is the main center in this region. People are very loving and have a fond of food. People also are very spiritually and have a Bhakti. Swaminarayan Gurukul, Sanidev Mandir, Swaminarayan temple, etc are located in this village.

Kandari is located in Karjan Taluka of Vadodara District. The Population of Kandari is about 5000 and it is one of most prominent and political influenced village since Independence. It is located on National Highway No. 8 between Karjan and Vadodara. It is located 3km from Karjan(headquarter) and 25km from Vadodara. The village holds a prominent number of  NRI people from USA,UK , Australia ,Canada. The majority of old age people in village are engaged with farming while the younger generations are opting for jobs in industries which are near by the village. There are many Temples located inside the village like Swaminarayan Gurukul, Sanidev Mandir, Chatrubhuj Mandir , Somnath Temple, Bhathiji Mandir etc. The villagers are very friendly and food lovers as many famous and nice restaurants and Dhabas are located nearby the village on highway. It is one of the wealthiest village in Karjan Taluka.
